Completing TEK School Business Systems Analyst Course prepares students for the International Institute of Business Analysis – ESBA (Entry Certificate in Business Analysis) Certification but does not automatically lead to it. TEK School does not require, market, or grant any external accreditation or certifications.

Admissions Criteria

The minimum requirements for enrollment in the Business Systems Analyst (BSA) Course are as follows:
a) Be at least 18 years old.
b) Be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. TEK School does not require an English language proficiency test.
c) Pass the initial onboarding interview and exam.
d) Agree to the terms of the contract and policies of the TEK School.
e) Process their first payment and registration fee at the time of registration.

CURRICULUM

Business Systems Analyst (BSA) – 101 introduces software structures of the computer systems and the methodologies and processes used in their development. This module helps students to learn about standard market practices and development teams’ expectations. Tek School’s emphasis on in-depth, personalized training means completing this module does not require any computer science or business systems background.
Key Outcome: Students master the general scope and prepare for subsequent modules.

Business Systems Analyst (BSA) – 110 focuses on modern software development tools and techniques. In This module, students learn the core concepts of business analysis planning & monitoring, requirement gathering, strategy analysis, and design definition and solution evaluation. Engaging students with these concepts and practices, this module enables students to successfully join common development life cycles as Business Systems Analysts.

Key Outcome: Students learn and employ business analysis core concepts to complete a real-world project.

Business Systems Analyst (BSA) – 210 focuses on database systems and the management of data structures. Training students on the basics of Structured Query Language (SQL) and the processes of relational databases, this module equips students with knowledge of platforms that are widely used in traditional and modern software platforms.
Key Outcome: Students can execute basic SQL queries and interact with relational databases.

Business Systems Analyst (BSA) – 215 concentrates on business analytics tools. Power BI (Business Intelligence) is one of the most well-known data analysis and visualization platforms in the current market. Training on Power BI allows students to present a well-rounded, in-demand skillset that makes them stand out in the IT job market.
Key Outcome: Students can use Power BI to complete an assigned project and perform data visualization.

Business Systems Analyst (BSA) – 310 focuses on introductory programming and test automation tools and processes to help students become well-versed Business Systems Analysts that are able to collaborate with teams they frequently collaborate with in the real world.
Key Outcome: Students possess a core understanding of software programming and testing.

The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) – 315 course prepares students for the job market by examining the intricacies of the job application process. Students will learn how to navigate the job market and manage the job search process effectively.
Key Outcome: Students form resumes, create effective profiles on appropriate job search engines, and become familiar with negotiating offers.
